A fun morning at the beach!
Grayson spent most of his time building sand castles, which Neylan enjoyed knocking over!
We were able to visit my grandma tonight. I think she really enjoyed watching the boys play and interact

July 30
This morning we got to play with some more cousins at the park. This group has only met each other a couple of times, but they always have a great time together.
After a fun time at the park and lunch together at Chick-fil-a, Mom and I headed to Charleston, SC with the boys for a short visit with my grandparents and a little dip in the ocean!

Tonight was a fun night spent at Adam's aunt's pool. The boys had a very long nap this afternoon and Grayson seems to be feeling much better. So, they had a good time.
Have I mentioned how much I love my new camera?! I can capture cool action shots like this one now!
July 28
This morning we went to a new park with a splash pad and playground. Grayson is always eager to jump right in and get wet. Neylan, on the other hand, is still not fond of being splashed in the face!
The playground was more his thing since it provided ample opportunities to climb!
While the boys napped this afternoon, several of us went downtown to the Sunsphere. Most of us (including me) had never been to the top, so we rode up and saw these great views of downtown Knoxville.
After dinner we picked blueberries and fished in Uncle Ben's pond
Granddad helped Grayson catch about 5 fish and Grayson caught one all by himself (he threw in the line, got a bite, hooked it, and reeled it in- solo!!)
Neylan even caught a few!
July 27
We had lots of family come in town today for a little summer get together. In honor of the Olympics, we had a big dinner of fish and chips (really just a fish fry) in honor of London and watched the Opening Ceremony in our red, white, and blue!
Some people even pulled out the outfits they wore to the Olympic games in 1996, when they were in Atlanta! Our family loves the games so we had a fun, festive evening!
When searching for something red, white, and blue for Neylan to wear, the only thing I packed for him was his "I love Korea" shirt. It works for this occasion. We'll be cheering for both countries!
July 26
Tonight the boys went to Uncle Ben's house to feed the fish in his pond and look at the cows in the pasture. We don't get these experiences everyday in the big city!

The boys and I are headed to TN today for a two week vacation. Our flight left at 6:05 am, so it's been a long day! Grayson is sick as well ( and this is our first trip being potty-trained)! We'll see how the flight and travel home goes.

Another picture taken on my phone- deleted!
I had to take Grayson to the doctor this morning because he hasn't been feeling well the past few days. We are heading out of town on Wednesday and with the whooping cough outbreak, I'm just being cautious. But, he said it was a common cold. It sure has wiped him out though.

Every Sunday night after volleyball we go to Sonic to have dinner with friends. Neylan has found it the perfect opportunity to flirt and socialize!
We gave in and allowed Neylan to have the rest of Grayson's ice cream cone. We'll see how that affects him later this week!

Tonight I got away for a Pinterest party with some girlfriends. We each brought a snack from a recipe we found on Pinterest and then brought supplies to make a craft or project that we had found on Pinterest. Apparently I was a bit ambitious with the necklace I intended to make. It's going to take a bit longer than I thought.

Tonight was just a lazy night after a busy start to the week. We got the boys ready for bed early and let them eat popcorn and watch a movie! Not a complaint was heard

Grayson learned to float at swim lessons today! Moving right along with his mad swimming skills

Tonight we headed to Kids' Camp to see Daddy. They boys have barely seen his this week becuase of his busy work schedule. We got to watch the kids do skits and songs and then played outside for a bit.
Adam also took us on a tour of the camp in his golf cart
July 13
Tonight we went to Theatre in the Park with a big group of friends. It was Nana and Granddad's first time to go. The show completely captured Grayson and Neylan's attention. We saw a double feature of the Jungle Book and Sleeping Beauty.
At intermission the kids got a snack necklace (one of my recent Pinterest finds). They devoured them pretty quickly!

I bought a Toy Story gummy making kit a while back with intentions of making these for their birthday party. Well, it's a month later and they are still asking to make them. They were actually really easy to do. I should have done this a long time ago!
