Grayson discovered his voice this week. He squeels all the time now. Instead of taking a nap this afternoon, he just wanted to talk and scream at anyone who would listen.

I spent the morning, while Grayson napped, pulling weeds. Adam's dad, the garden guru, is coming to visit next week, so I thought I would save him some time by cleaning up the beds.
I pulled a full bag and the beds still don't look great. They will by this time next week though. It's also amazing what you find when you pull all the weeds. I was actually looking for this before I started this morning.
Grayson now finds it funny to look in the mirror. It's really cute to watch

Grayson fell asleep on the way home from church and actually stayed asleep in his carseat for at least 30 minutes once we got home. That never happens.

Grayson is really into his mirror in our cars. Today he just constantly smiled at himself on his way to and from church
Finally big enough to wear this cute outfit his crazy Aunt Kasey and Aunt Nan bought him to wear when we went to the beach in July. Too bad it's almost fall and will be too cold to get much more wear out of it.

Grayson was a good sport and wore a KU outfit during their game. Seth, Todd, and Mitch, the KU alums, were so proud. 
But as soon as the UT game came on, he changed outfits. Benjamin and James also cheered on the Vols.
I made it in a local paper today with several unattractive pictures of me working in the pool. The article is about a little girl I work with.

Grayson's new hat and blanket he got at our first MOPS meeting this morning. They were giving them to all the moms who had babies over the summer.
I think my vacuum cleaner bit the dust (literally and figuratively). Anyway something is wrong with it and it won't work. I hope we can figure it out before buying a new one. This really is a disappointment since vacuuming is one of my favorite chores.

Who knew a shaker could be so much fun when it shaken on your head. I missed all of the big smiles, but Grayson was thoroughly enjoying it.

Grayson's first exersaucer experience in the nursery at church. He tolerated it well, but his arms are a little short to reach out to play with any of the toys and his feet didn't quite touch the bottom.
These crazy triplets were the inspiration for this Project 365 blog. I met them 3 years ago at CCVI, where today we held our annual ice cream social for all the kids and families who currently attend and alumni. Their mom is on her 3rd year of doing a Project 365 blog (one picture everyday). So, if she can do it with triplets, surely I can do it with just one. The boys are almost 5 now and are doing fantastic.

It's official!!! Adam's diploma arrived in the mail today from Pitt State. He now has his Master's in Educational Leadership. This was the only use we got out of the cap and gown we had to pay for.
